Still Here is built from layers of soft neutrals, pale blues and small flashes of unexpected color. Faint marks, scratches and bits of collage that look like pieces of old letters peek through the surface, giving the painting a sense of history. It’s about the things that change over time—and the pieces of ourselves and our memories that somehow remain.
