Description
Part of my Deconstructed Flower Gardens series, Wild Gathering is an abstract interpretation of a garden at its most joyful and unruly. Layers of soft blues, creamy whites, vibrant pinks, and fresh greens mingle and overlap, creating the feeling of blooms, petals, and foliage gathered together in a spontaneous celebration of color.
Rather than depicting flowers in a traditional way, this piece captures the energy and memory of a garden—the movement, abundance, and beauty that emerge when nature is allowed to flourish freely. Built through multiple layers of paint, marks, and texture, each section reveals glimpses of what came before, creating depth and a sense of discovery.
Both lively and sophisticated, Wild Gathering brings a fresh, collected feel to a space, offering a modern floral presence that complements a wide range of interiors, from coastal and contemporary to classic and transitional. It is a piece that invites you to linger and discover something new each time you visit it.
